  Died: Armand Gamache 1931 - 2024 We sadly announce the peaceful passing of Armand Gamache on August 1, 2024, in Burnaby at the age of 93. Born in Montreal, Armand made his way to Vancouver, where he found his true calling as a longshoreman. Throughout his career on the docks, Armand was known for his unwavering work ethic and dedication. His colleagues became lifelong friends, and his presence left a lasting impact on everyone he worked with. A devoted sports fan, Armand loved cheering for the BC Lions and the Vancouver Canucks, sharing his enthusiasm for football and hockey with family and friends. Armand was a loving husband, father, and grandfather, whose kindness, wit, and great conversations touched everyone he met. He leaves behind his beloved wife Angela, children Ron and Cecile, grandchildren Brittany and Marco, and many dear friends. A private family service will be held in Burnaby.
