Amanda Jo Bray-Gamache, age 25, of Kathleen, Georgia, passed away Friday, May 6, 2011 in Atlanta, Georgia. Jeremy Gamache, a Senior Force Protection Office in the U.S. Air Force, died Friday, along with his wife, in a car accident in Florida.
Amanda was born in McAlester, Oklahoma on January 3, 1986, a daughter of Yvette (Thornton) and Joe Bray.
Amanda was the wife of the late Jeremy Raymond Gamache. She graduated from Wilburton High School in 2004, and was a member of Calvary Baptist Church, Wilburton, Oklahoma.
Amanda was active duty as a "Senior Airman" with the United States Air Force.
Amanda is survived by:
Father and Mother: Joe & Yvette Bray of Wilburton, Oklahoma.
Brothers: T. J. Bray, Taylor Bray and Spencer Bray all of Wilburton, Oklahoma.
Maternal Grandparents: Jim & Toni Thornton of Wilburton, Oklahoma.
She is also survived by several aunts and uncles.
Amanda was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Arvil E. Bray and Betty J. Bray.
Services at First Baptist Church, Wilburton, Oklahoma, at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, May 13, 2011 with Rev. Willard Francis and Rev. Kevin Fitzgerald officiating. Interment to follow at the Wilburton Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Wilburton, Oklahoma.
Pallbearers: T. J. Bray, Taylor Bray, Spencer Bray, Ryan Enis, Andrew Enis, Emily Enis, Stephen Thornton II.
Honorary Pallbearers: Jed Welch, Shane Andersen, Jamie Vansickle, Miranda Sivic.
