Deceased Name: Ghislaine G. Compagna
MANCHESTER -- Ghislaine G. (Gamache) Compagna, 94, of Manchester, died peacefully May 6, 2013, in her home after a period of declining health.
She was born in Manchester on May 28, 1918, to Appolinaire and Rose Anna (Pettigrew) Gamache. She was a lifelong resident of Manchester.
She worked for the Association Canado-Americaine and Dupont Insurance, both in Manchester, for many years. She was also a homemaker for many years.
Ghislaine was a member of the Sodality of St. Anne and the Catholic War Veterans Auxiliary. She was also a eucharistic minister and a member of the Bel Canto Choir in Manchester.
She was predeceased by her husband, Robert A. Compagna, in 2009 and by four children, Roger Compagna in 2011 and Denise, Paul and Guy Compagna.
The family includes two children, Donald F. Compagna and his wife, Diane, of Manchester, and Gisele McCall and her husband, James, of Bedford; a daughter-in-law, Connie Compagna of Manchester; six grandchildren, Christine, Renee, Aaron, Meagan, Ryan and Nolan; a great-grandson, Lucas; a brother, Philippe Gamache and his wife, Louise, of Nashua; and many nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank the staff of Home Health and Hospice Care for the care they provided to Ghislaine.

SERVICES: Calling hours are Monday from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. at Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, 1799 Elm St., corner of North Street, Manchester.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Monday, May 13, at 11 a.m. at Parish of the Transfiguration, corner of Kelley and Youville streets, Manchester. Committal prayers will follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery, 474 Goffstown Road, Manchester.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Home Health and Hospice Care, 7 Executive Park Drive, Merrimack 03054.
