Jacqueline Zoeth Hanses
April 21, 1930 - Nov. 8, 2011
Jackie Hanses, 81, passed away in Madison, Ala., on Nov. 8, 2011. She was born in Yakima, Wash., on April 21, 1930, the daughter of John and Esther Hanses. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Frank, Donald and Jerald Hanses, and her husband, Richard Shade. She is survived by her beloved children, John (Teri) Shade, Richard (Dana) Shade, David (Karen) Shade and Jeanne (Bill) Frankowitz; 11 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Connie, Jeanne, Myrna Hanses; and many nieces and nephews.
She was an 18-year resident of Cameron Park and member of the Holy Trinity Catholic Parish in El Dorado Hills. She loved the arts, was a fine amateur painter and devoted her energies to the church. She was both a Eucharistic and Homebound minister, a member of the Ladies Social Outreach, the Liturgical Environment ministry and several other groups.
A celebration of her life will be scheduled at Holy Trinity Church at a later date. She will be buried in Yakima.
