Gerard Gamache of Plainville died Wednesday. He was 91.
He was born in Lisbon, Maine, and had been employed at General Electric Co. for many years. He was a member of Our Lady of Mercy Church, Plainville.
He is survived by a son, Jerome Gamache of Augusta, Maine; three sisters, Bertha Breault of Ohio, Pauline Ficor of Lynchburg, Va., and Geraldine Rasmussen of Port Chester, N.Y.; four grandsons; and several nieces and nephews. His wife, Jeannette L. Bouford Gamache, died previously.
The funeral will be Saturday at 9 a.m. from Bailey Funeral Home, 48 Broad St., Plainville, with a Mass at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of Mercy Church. Interment will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Plainville. Calling hours are Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
