Pauline Cecile (Gamache) Milot, 90, passed away at home on December 26, 2022.
Pauline was born on November 27, 1932, to the late Norman T. Gamache and Cecile (Fecteau) Gamache of Fall River, Massachusetts.
Pauline was predeceased by her husband, Dr. Robert Milot, survived by her children Paul (Ivo), Marc (Vivian), Rene (Lynne), George (Cheryl), Michelle, her late son Jean, grandchildren Jennifer (John) Ashburn, Jonathan Milot, Melissa (Kevin) Goncalo, Marc (Alecia) Milot Jr., Daniel (Sadie) Milot, Alexandria (Michael) Conway, Jacqueline Milot, Isabelle Milot, siblings Louise (Robert) Gendron, late brother Norman T. Gamache who survived by his loving wife Claire, sister-in-law Pauline Milot Dufour, late brother-in-law Maurice Milot, cousins Jeanette Gendreau late Sr. Antoinette Gamache, many loving nieces and nephews, 11 great-grandchildren and her loving dog Ben.
She attended Jesus Mary Academy High school and graduated from Rivier College Nashua, NH. She worked as the Treasurer for the family business Gamache Trucking in Fall River, Mass.
Pauline was an active member of her community and belonged to several organizations, including St. Christopher's Choir (Vocalist), Women's Club of Newport County (Treasurer), Tiverton Library (Volunteer Aide), Blithewold Mansion (Tour Guide), and the Fall River Marine Museum (Volunteer)
Pauline enjoyed riding horses at her childhood home in Westport, MA. She played sports in college as a Rivier Women's basketball team member. Her appreciation for sports carried over to her children as she became a devoted hockey mom before "hockey moms" were a thing. She encouraged and attended many of her children's and grandchildren's school and sporting events. Pauline also loved to travel, especially with her daughter Michelle on yearly planned adventures.
The family would like to thank Lori and Sue for their care and friendship to Pauline for the past few years.
Pauline (Gamache) Milot's memorial funeral mass will be held at St. Christopher's Church on January 7, 2023, at 10:00 am. Everyone is requested to meet at the church. Her cremated remains will be buried at Notre Dame Cemetery.
