Laplante, Philippe Sauvé - The family of Philippe Sauvé Laplante announces with sorrow his passing on Friday, December 5, 2014 in Cold Lake, Alberta at the age of 94 years. Philippe is survived by: Thérèse and her children; brother: François (Rose) Laplante of Edmonton, AB; three sisters: Rosa (Philippe) Gamache of Quesnel, BC, Emma Germain of Edmonton, AB, Paulina Mercier of Hinton, AB; sister-in-law: Claudette Laplante of Terrace, BC. Philippe was predeceased by his parents: Paul & Normandine Laplante; four brothers: Paul (Rolande), Arthur, Elzéor, Armand; sister: Bertha; two brothers-in-law: Robert Germain, Maurice Mercier. Prayer Service, Thursday, December 11, 2014 at 7:00 p.m. at St. Dominic Roman Catholic Church, Cold Lake, AB with Reverend Father Andrew Schoenberger officiating. Mass of Christian Burial, Friday, December 12, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. at St. Dominic Roman Catholic Church, Cold Lake, AB with Reverend Father Andrew Schoenberger as celebrant. Interment Service followed in St. Dominic Roman Catholic Cemetery, Cold Lake, AB. Pallbearers were: Alfred Laplante, Laurent Gamache, Paul Laplante, Arthur Mercier, Marc Laplante, Brian Kremeniuk, Pierre Laplante, Laurent Germain.
