Jean Marjorie Menart died peacefully on July 31, 2016 at Brentwood North Nursing Home and Rehabilitation Center in Riverwoods, IL. She was born on April 4, 1938 to Harry and Mary Briesemeister of Duluth, MN. Jean, a long-time Northbrook resident, loved visiting Door County, reading a good book and enjoying a challenging game of Bridge. Most of all, she loved spending time with family and friends. She is survived by her loving and devoted husband, Duane; three daughters: Julie Menart of Schaumburg, IL, Patti Menart of Round Lake Beach, IL and Jill Ganan (Jordan) of Grayslake, IL; three grandchildren: Matthew Menart, Mikayla Ganan, Seth Ganan, and lastly, her sister and best friend, Joan Murphy of Fridley, MN, plus many nieces and nephews. A memorial service is planned for August 13, 2016 at 3:00 at Northern Illinois Funeral Services, 31632 N. Ellis Drive, Unit 209, Volo, IL 60073.
