PAUL E. GAMACHE - July 29, 1997 - Woonsocket - PAUL E. GAMACHE, 74, of 56 Rose Ave., died Sunday at the Jane Brown Unit of Rhode Island Hospital, Providence. He was the husband of Therese (Thibauly) Gamache. Born in Granby, Province of Quebec, Canada, at his late Theodore and Arzelia (Benjamin) Gamache, he lived in Woonsocket most of his life. He was a communicator of Our Lady Queen of Martyrs Church and a member of the Holy Name and St. Vincent of Paul Society at the church. He was on the carnival committee and worked on the Catholic Charity Drive at the church. Mr. Gamache was on the board of directors of the Park Square Credit Union. He was a member of the C.B.I. Veterans and the Fairmount Post VFW. He was an Army veteran of World War II. He leaves two sounds, Eugene P. Gamache of North Smithfield, Charles Gamache of Woonsocket; a daughter, Paulette Gamache of Woonsocket; a sister, Mary Bouvier of Pawtucket; and four stepgrandchildren. The funeral will be held Thursday at 10 am from the Menoche Funeral Home, Providence St., Woonsocket, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 in Our Lady's Queen of Martyrs Church, Park Square.
