Sandra Dawn Chappell Gamache, mom was raised in Dayton in the Old Chappell homestead. An only child, a daughter was born April 1, 1943 to Donald and Letha Chappel. As did others in her family history, she settled and rooted there in the Dayton-Matlock area she called home.
Mom enjoyed most, being barefoot taking full advantage of life in the natural, camping, fishing, etc. She had a huge desire to be carefree and an even greater heart for her critters. When mom loved, she loved deep, loved hard and she loved long, even her lifetime. Mom enjoyed woodcrafts, painting, baking, canning and quilting among other things. Mom also secretly enjoyed pleasing other folks.
She is survived by children, Julie Ann Goldsby (b. 1 Apr 1961,m. to Richard A. Stockwell 28 Feb 1980), Gerald (Ashley) Goldsby (lives Shelton, WA, b. McCleary, GREYS HARBOR, WA, 15 Sep 1962, m. to Brenda R. Boyles, 25 May 1985 ? d. 12 Aug 1992 (0); m. to Michelle L. unknown ? d. 26 Feb 1997 (0); m. to Dana S. Mullen, 22 Sep 1997- d. 31 Mar 2004 (9); m. to Diane Hayes 12 Aug 2017), Dottie Sue Goldsby (b. 8 Oct 1964, m. to William Peller 23 Apr 1983), Tonja Creamer and Ron Larson (b. 19 Sep 1988). She was blessed to see some of her great-grandchildren but mostly they-we were blessed to see her.
Time after time she made quilts and such to show ?her? love and appreciation. She was a wonderful grandma. Some knew her as a wee little woman with a lot to say and we also knew her as that. I myself loved and will miss her very much. She was 64 years old.
