1936-2026
Val-d'Or: Passed away at Maison de la Source Gabriel, on May 12, 2026, at the age of 89, Mrs. Liliane Gamache, resident of Val-d'Or, daughter of the late Alfred Gamache and the late Alexina Nadeau, wife of the late Laurent Bélanger, partner of Jean-Claude Dontigny.
Mrs. Gamache is survived by her children: Sylvie (Ghislain) and Alain (Diane); her grandchildren: Sébastien, Émilie, Anthony, François, Mylène, Martin and Alexandre; her great-grandchildren: Isaac, Élyse, Alexa, Julyan, Raphaelle and William; her brother Marc (Francine); her brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law; her nephews and nieces as well as many relatives and friends.
The family wishes to thank all the staff at the Val-d'Or Hospital Centre and the Maison de la Source Gabriel for the excellent care provided.

Mrs. Gamache will be lying in state at the Abitibi Funeral Cooperative, 582 Avenue Centrale in Val-d'Or, on Saturday, June 13, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. and from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
A final thought will take place on Saturday, June 13, 2026 at 4 p.m. at the Coopérative funéraire de l'Abitibi funeral home in Val-d'Or (Central Avenue).
The burial will take place at the Val-d'Or cemetery at a later date.
