Marc Fortin 1964-2014 - Died on December 2, 2014, Saint-Damase de L'Islet. Fortin, Marc 1964-2014 Mr. Marc Fortin, spouse of Mrs. Nathalie Pelletier and son of Dame Denyse Berthiaume and the late Mr. Georges Fortin, passed away on December 2, 2014 at the Montmagny Hospital on December 2, 2014. He lived in Saint-Damase de L'Islet. Besides his spouse and his mother, he is survived by his son Olivier Fortin (Cassandra Bernier); Nathalie's children: Audrey-Ann (Maxime Bilodeau) and Noémie Desrosiers (Simon Gonthier), as well as Majorie Morin (Guillaume Boulanger Boucher). He would have been an extraordinary baby for the baby to come in the next few weeks. He was the brother and brother-in-law of: late Lucie, Carole (Jacques Harrisson), late Daniel (Sylvie Bourret), Benoit (Maryse Gamache), Robert (Chantale Carrier), Charles (Angela Salter), Maxime (Karine Jeffrey). He also leaves his mother-in-law Bernadette Fortin (late Clément Pelletier); his godson Jeffrey Fortin, as well as his uncles, aunts, nephews and nieces, cousins, other relatives and many friends. Sincere thanks are addressed to Dr. Jacques Rivest as well as to his two pearls (as Marc often said), Dr. Annie Mercier and Chantal Marcoux, nurse, from the Montmagny Hospital, who took such good care of him and for all their attention. According to his wishes, a farewell ceremony was held in private, with his family and loved ones on Saturday, December 13, 2014 at the Saint-Jean-Port-Joli funeral home. His ashes were then placed in the columbarium of the De la Durantaye et Fils funeral home in Saint-Jean-Port-Joli De la Durantaye & fils, QC, 2014-12-15
