At the Rimouski Regional Hospital Centre, on December 23, 2005, at the age of 81 years and 7 months, died Father Robert Saindon, retired priest, son of the late Mr. Alfred Saindon and the late Lady Joséphine Gamache, residing at Résidence Lionel Roy, 83, rue St-Jean-Baptiste Ouest, Rimouski. The family and their fellow priests will receive condolences at Résidence Lionel Roy 83, rue St-Jean-Baptiste Ouest, Rimouski on Monday, December 26 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. , Saint-Arsène on Tuesday December 27 from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m.; Wednesday, the day of the funeral, from 9 a.m. The religious service will be celebrated on Wednesday, December 28 at 10:30 a.m., in the church of Saint-Arsène and from there to the parish cemetery. He is survived by his sisters, brother-in-law and sisters-in-law: Thérèse (late Adélard Parent), Rachelle (Walter Dubé), Sister Crescence of the Servants of the Holy Heart of Mary, late Rosaire (Solange Martin), late Jean-Marie (Mariette Santerre) as well as several nephews, nieces and friends. Born May 5, 1924 in Saint-Modeste, son of Alfred Saindon, farmer, and Joséphine Gamache; ordained a priest on June 8, 1952 in Saint-Modeste by Bishop Charle-Eugène Parent; retired. Classical studies at the Petit Séminaire de Rimouski (1940-1948); theological studies at the Major Seminary of Rimouski (1948-1952); continuing education at the Center for University Studies in Rimouski (1969-1971) and at the University of Quebec in Rimouski (1974-1976, 1992). He was curate at Saint-Moïse (June-November 1952), at Saint-Léon-le-Grand from 1952 to 1955,
