  [S5] Obituary. Rudolph (Rudy) Emanuel Dettwyler January 7, 1929 - October 22, 2014 Rudolph, 85, was born to Karl and Lydia (Stadeli) Dettwyler in Silverton, Oregon. He was the oldest of 10 children. He married Esther Wenger on May 7, 1953. She preceded him in death. His brother Fred also preceded him in death. He is survived by siblings Marie Jenson, William, Fran Baxa, Alice Schurter, Robert, Arlene Gamache, Sam and Bernie. Rudolph loved his children and siblings and missed his "Esther". He will be greatly missed. He died peacefully at his home with his children and siblings at his side. He leaves behind his children: Deborah Hari of Silverton; Cecelia Taylor of Scotts Mills; Daniel of Salem; Teresa Ferronato of Henderson Nevada; Grace Fudge of Salem; Eugene of Salem; Elizabeth Agnew of Redmond; Garth of Salem; Nathan of Winston; twenty grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Private services were held at German Apostolic Christian Church cemetery, Oct. 24, 2014. Published in Statesman Journal on Oct. 25, 2014
