  [S5] Obituary. April 27, 2023 Betty Ellen Cox (Beegles) passed away on April 27, 2023, at the age of 92 in Colorado Springs, Colorado. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 55 years, Lyle Cox, who passed in 2014 and her only son, Steven Cox who passed in 2011. Betty was born on April 5, 1931, in La Junta, Colorado. She is survived by her daughter, Melodee Crites (Kevin), her granddaughter, Laci Gamache (Paul), her grandson, Daniel Williams, and her great-grandchildren, Addison and Ashton. She is also survived by her brother, Robert Beegles (Karen), and various nieces and nephews. The ceremony to celebrate Betty's life will be held at Trinity United Methodist Church located at 701 N. 20th St. in Colorado Springs, CO 80904 at 10:00 A.M. Saturday, May 6, 2023. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to National Pancreatic Foundation or Alzheimer's Association. May Betty rest in peace. Published by The Gazette on May 3, 2023.
