  [S5] Obituary. Gail Sweatland,Gamache Obituary Published by Legacy Remembers on Oct. 3, 2024. Gail Ann Sweatland Gamache, aged 75, passed away on September 25, 2024, at Hartford Hospital. Born on July 30, 1949, Gail was a lifelong resident of Suffield, Connecticut, a place she dearly loved. Gail was the epitome of loving and caring, always putting others before herself. She cherished her family deeply, leaving behind three children, Tammy Urso, Kerri Hall, and Joel Gamache; seven grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter. She is also survived by her brother, Gary Sweatland, along with many nieces and nephews. Gail was preceded in death by her parents, Helen and Harold Sweatland, and her brothers, Guy and John Sweatland. Throughout her life, Gail enjoyed watching racing, whether it be on TV or in person, supporting her son and grandchildren in their car and dirt bike races. She was an avid fan of baseball and football and relished taking rides and going on vacation trips. Gail also cherished the moments spent staying up late at night to talk with her best friend, Kris. A private service will be held in West Suffield, CT, attended by her three children. Gail's loving spirit and nurturing nature will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
