Died:
- Candice-Lee M. Heuklom, 22, a college student in California, formerly of Bellingham, Mass., died Wednesday in an automobile accident Wednesday in Kerrville, Texas, as she was moving back to live with her parents.
Born in Woonsocket, she was a daughter of Michel and Pauline M. (Mercier) Gamache and had lived all her life in Bellingham.
Miss Heuklom was pursuing a bachelor of arts degree in physiology with plans for graduate work in forensic medicine from Bridgewater (Mass.) State University. She recently completed a semester at California State University, San Marcos.
She attended the Stallbrook School and graduated with honors from Mount St. Charles Academy, Class of 1995. She played basketball for Mount St. Charles Academy, field hockey and rugby for Bridgewater State University, and basketball with the University of Massachusetts.
Besides her parents, she leaves two sisters, both of Bellingham, a niece, and three nephews.
The funeral will be held tomorrow at 9 a.m. from Cartier's Funeral Home, 151 South Main St., Bellingham, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 in St. Blaise Church, 1158 South Main St., Bellingham. The interment will be in St. Jean Baptiste Cemetery, Bellingham.
