  Died: Obituary (The Addison Independent) Bristol - Helen M. D'Avignon, 73, died Wednesday, Oct. 9, 2002, at Porter Medical Center in Middlebury. She was born Nov. 30, 1928, in Bristol, the daughter of Roy and Melvina (Booska) Jimmo. She was a member of St. Ambrose Catholic Church in Bristol. She is survived by six children ; eight grandchildren; a nephew, a grand-niece and a grand-nephew. She was predeceased by her husband, Theodore, on Oct. 7, 1988, and by her brother, Leon Jimmo, on Dec. 1, 1998. A Mass of Christian Burial was held on Saturday at St Ambrose Catholic Church in Bristol, followed by interment in Mt. St. Joseph Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Bristol Rescue Squad. -------- Two of her children (Roy A D'Avignon (1958-2022) and Judith (D'Avignon) Poquette (1967-2021) are also buried in the Mount Saint Joseph Cemetery (based on the info in their obituaries).
