Died:
- Arthur R. Aubuchon, age 99, of Belleville, IL, formerly of Washington Park, IL, born on October 26, 1918 in St. Louis, MO, died on Monday, October 30, 2017 at Four Fountains, Belleville, IL.
Arthur served in the United States Army during WWII. He worked as a machinist at National Auto Supply. Arthur was a member of the Boy Scouts of America and a recipient of various awards including the Order of the Arrow, Wood Badge, Silver Beaver, Pelican and St. George Awards. He was a member of the Catholic Committee on Scouting, VFW Post #805 and Past Commander. Arthur was a former City Clerk of Washington Park and former Clerk of Canteen Township.
Arthur was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Ann Aubuchon, nee Hagan; his son, Michael R. Aubuchon; his daughter-in-law, Pamela Aubuchon; his granddaughter, Dr. Catherine Speedie; his parents, Joseph and Agnes Aubuchon; his mother and father-in-law, Richard and Martha Hagan; his sisters, Veronica Klaus and Florence Woodside; and his sister-in-law, Mary Frances Hagan.
He is survived by his daughter, JoAnn (Ray) Heinzl of Belleville, IL, his son, John (Nikki) Aubuchon of Uniontown, MO; his grandchildren, Jeffrey (Dr. Karen VanAnrooy) Heinzl; Steven (Jennifer) Heinzl, Suzanne (Marshall) Mullins, Christopher Aubuchon; Rebecca Ann (Craig) Cowan, Jennifer R. Aubuchon, Mary Frances Aubuchon and Timothy Patrick Aubuchon; his grandson-in-law, Thomas Speedie; and his great grandchildren, Graham Speedie, Emma Heinzl, Nolan Heinzl, Nora Mullins, Elaina Mullins, Cori Hargis, Zieyal Wonch, Iliana Wonch, and Conner Cowan.
