Her husband, Arthur A. Gamache, predeceased her. She leaves two sons, including Allen A. Gamache of Paxton; five grandchildren, and a great-grandchild. Two brothers, Stanford and Foster Lewis, predeceased her. She was born in Fall River. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 15, in Hillcrest Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Make-A-Wish Foundation of Western Mass Inc., 181 Park Ave., Suite 12, West Springfield, MA 01089. CLAIRE GAMACHE EAST LONGMEADOW -- Claire (Lewis) Gamache, 87, died Tuesday, March 11, 2003, at Chestnut Hill Nursing Home. She was the widow of Arthur A. Gamache. Born in Fall River, she was a graduate of New Bedford High School, class of 1932. Mrs. Gamache was employed for many years at the former Blake?s Department Store until retiring in 1989. Survivors include two sons, Allen A. Gamache and his wife, Joyce, of Paxton and David M. Gamache and his wife, Claudia, of Springfield; five grandchildren; and a great-grandchild. She was the sister of the late Stanford Lewis and Foster Lewis. Her graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Hillcrest Park Cemetery, Springfield. Arrangements are by the Sampson Funeral Home.
