GAMACHE, Rolande
1924-2020
At the Montmagny Hospital, on February 11, 2020, at the age of 95 years and 9 months, passed away Mrs. Rolande Gamache, wife of the late Mr. Gustave Gamache. Daughter of the late Dame Ludivine Bélanger and the late Mr. Napoléon Gamache, she lived in Saint-Damase-des-Aulnaies.
She is survived by her children: Pierre (Lynn Bélanger), Louise (Jean-Pierre Leclerc), Monique (Jean-Paul Lord), Hélène and André; his seven grandchildren: Louis and Chantal Gamache (Vincent Plasse), François and Martin Leclerc, Mathieu, Étienne and Jean-Philippe Lord; his four great-grandchildren: Joffrey and Léa-Mai Gamache, Raphael and Camille Plasse.
Are also affected by his departure, his sister Laurette, members of his in-laws as well as his nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends.
Her family would like to thank the staff of the Home Care Service of the CLSC de Saint-Jean-Port-Joli, in particular Sylvie Royer and Maryse Caron for their support and their humanism. Thank you also to the doctors, nurses and attendants of Montmagny Hospital for the quality of their care and the respect shown to their mother.
In lieu of flowers, your expressions of sympathy can result in a mass offering or a donation to the Fabrique de Saint-Damase, 1, Place de l'Église, Saint-Damase (Québec), G0R 2X0 or to the organization of your choice. Forms will be available at the church.
The funeral with Eucharist will be celebrated on Saturday February 29, 2020 at 2 p.m. in the Church of Saint Damase, where members of his family will welcome you from 12:30 p.m. His ashes will be deposited later in the parish cemetery.
