Arthur Gamache 1940 - 2012 At the Hôpital Laval, on October 31st, 2012, at the age of 72, passed away Mr. Arthur Gamache, husband of Dame Louise-Marie Lord, residing in Quebec City (Sainte-Foy). Originally from Saint-Damase de L'Islet, he was the son of the late Dame Eva Lord and the late Monsieur Amable Gamache. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children: Geneviève (Charles-Alexandre Paré) and Valérie (Yves Lacasse); his grandchildren: Jonathan, Marie-Frédérique, Jean-Christophe, Eloise and Eve. He was the brother and brother-in-law of: Doris (Gaétan Soucy), Lorraine (Norman Salois), Lorrain (Nicole Rouleau), late Fleur-Ange, Serge, Diane (Marcel Cloutier). He also leaves the Lord family, his nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends. Your expressions of sympathy may result in a donation to the Quebec University Institute of Cardiology and Respirology (Fonds Alphonse L'Espérance), 2725, ch. Sainte-Foy, Quebec, QC G1V 4G5. Forms will be available on site. The members of his family will welcome you to the Sacristy of Saint-Damase Church in L'Islet on Saturday, the day of the funeral at 11 am. The religious service will be celebrated on Saturday, November 10, 2012 at 3 pm in the church of Saint-Damase of L'Islet. His ashes will be deposited in the parish cemetery.
