At the Pierre-Boucher Hospital in Longueuil on October 6, 2025, at the age of 68, passed away Mr. François Poitras, husband of Mrs. Pierrette Gamache, residing in Varennes.
Originally from L'Islet, he was the son of the late Mrs. Noëlla Dubé and the late Mr. Louis-Philippe Poitras;
the brother and brother-in-law of: Réjeanne (Raynald Roy), Carmen (Roger Marier), the late Jean-Marc (Diane St-Pierre), the late Marie-Thérèse (Benoit Dubé), Jacques (Nancy Cloutier), Richard (Hélène Lemieux), Elisabeth (Claude Caron) and Jacynthe (Gaston Caron);
of the Gamache family: the late Jeannine Caron and the late Camille Gamache: Jacques (Jeannine Caron) and Yves.
Also affected by his passing are his uncles and aunts: Claudette Caron (Louis-Georges Talbot), his godmother Mariette Dubé (Claude Fournier) and Gérard Poitras, his godchildren: Jean-François Poitras and Jean-Sébastien Gamache, his other nephews and nieces, his cousins ??and his friends.
