Died:
- Alvin Cook, a resident of Grand Junction, Colorado passed away on Tuesday, June 1, 1999 at his residence at the age of 81.
Alvin was born May 4, 1918 at Helper, Utah to Junious and Vida Hardman Cook. He married Audrey Gamache on July 5, 1947 at St. Louis, Missouri. She survives. Other survivors include four sons and daughters-in-law, Boyd and Susan Cook of Castle Rock, CO., Dennis and Shirlee Cook, Dale and Dana Cook andRon and Monica Cook, all of Grand Junction, Colorado; a brother, Virgil Cook of Utah; 13 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Alvin owned and operated Cook's Warehouse Market from 1968 until they closed in 1987. Alvin served in the U.S. Army during W.W. II.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, June 5, 1999 at Callahan-Edfast Chapel at 10:00
a.m. with Pastor Dave Bartlett officiating.
