Eugenie "Genie" (Gamache) Arson July 1, 1927 - January 22, 2010 Lebanon - Eugenie "Genie" (Gamache) Arson, 82, of Lebanon, wife of Walter J. Arson, died Friday Jan. 22, 2010 at St. Joseph Living Center, Windham. She was born in Canada on July 1, 1927 the daughter of Omer and Maria (Caron) Gamache. Genie had retired as office manager of the former Windham Lumber where she had been employed for over 20 years. She was a communicant of St. Francis of Assisi Church in Lebanon, serving many years as treasurer of its' Ladies Guild. Genie had been a Notary Public in Lebanon and went on numerous trips with the Lebanon Seniors. She was an avid UConn Women's Basketball fan. Genie was devoted to her family and especially loved telling everyone of her grandson's accomplishments. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her daughter Carolyn Postemski and her husband Arnie who held a special place in her heart; two brothers, Louis Gamache of Windham and Justinien "Justy" Gamache of Mansfield; two grandsons, Victor Postemski of Boston and Jason Postemski and his wife Erin and their daughter Peyton all of Manchester. She is also survived by a special godchild Jacqueline Gamache of Manchester and numerous nieces and nephews. Her family will receive relatives and friends on Sunday Jan. 24th between 2:00 and 4:00pm at Potter Funeral Home 456 Jackson St. (Rte. 195) Willimantic. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday at 11:00am at St. Francis of Assisi Church, West Town St. Lebanon with assembly at the church. Interment will follow in New Lebanon Cemetery. Memorial donations in memory of Genie are suggested to St. Francis of Assisi Church, 67 West Town St., Lebanon, Ct. 06249.
