PLATTSBURGH ? Pauline M. Dupee, 83, of 67 Tremblay Avenue, Plattsburgh, passed away on Jan. 12, 2011, at her home surrounded by her loving family, after fighting a courageous battle with cancer. Pauline was born in Champlain, N.Y., on Dec. 18, 1927. She was predeceased by her parents, Wilfred and Aline Gamache. Pauline was a devoted mother who enjoyed traveling and spending time with her family. She made many trips to Alaska to visit family, where she enjoyed panning for gold. She loved her pets, enjoyed gardening and going to garage sales.
Pauline was predeceased by her husband, Richard C. Dupee Sr.; a brother, Leo Gamache; and a sister, Beatrice Phanuef. Pauline is survived by a sister, Loretta Poissant of Mooers Forks, N.Y.; five sons, Richard C. Dupee Jr. and his wife, Patricia of Morrisonville, N.Y., Brent C. Dupee and his wife, Linda of Beekmantown, N.Y., Ronald J. Dupee and his wife, Betty of Fairbanks, Alaska, Michael T. Dupee and his wife, Lisa of West Chazy, N.Y., and Marlon G. Dupee Sr. of Plattsburgh, N.Y.; ten grandchildren, Richard, Kerri-Ann, Cid, Robert, Nichole, Ronald, Christine, Sarah, Katrina and Marlon II; 16 great-grandchildren, Angelia, Sarah, Nevaeh, Jagger, Aubriana, Ethan, Elizabeth, Addison, Dante, Denali, Emily, Ezekiel, Zack, Derek, Cooper, Johnathan; and several nieces and nephews. At Pauline's request, there will be no calling hours. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Jan. 17, at 10 a.m. at St. John's Church on Broad Street in Plattsburgh. Following the church service, interment will be at Whispering Maples Memorial Garden on the Tom Miller Road. Arrangements are entrusted to the Brown Funeral Home, 29 Broad Street in Plattsburgh.
