He was predeceased by : his parents, Robert W. and Irma; and his son Paul Gamache. He is survived by : his daughters, Kimber Kaushik (Natraj), Leslie Bashioum (Chris), Laura Simpson (Keith), Pamela Gamache (Chris Knowles) and Jaqueline Gamache (Tom Jack); and his step-children, Leigh-Anne Hillis (Chad), Jennifer Prater, Joe Prater and Adam Prater (Nate McComsey). He is also survived by sixteen grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren; and a host of other family members and friends.

Mr. Gamache, 78, of Alexandria, Louisiana passed from this life, Sunday, August 13, 2023 at his residence.
There will be a memorial service in Houston, Texas at a later date.
During his working career he worked for Gulf Oil Corporation (now Chevron), Pit Stop USA and was manager of Independence Hall, an apartment community for an American?s with disabilities, where he took pride in its mission and his love of its tenants. He loved running, coin collecting and watching old movies with his fur baby, Petey.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert W. and Irma de la Rivière Gamache and son, Paul Gamache.
Those left to cherish his memory include his daughters, Kimber Kaushik and husband, Natraj, Leslie Bashioum and husband, Chris, Laura Simpson and husband, Keith; Pamela Gamache and husband, Chris Knowles and Jaqueline Gamache and husband, Tom Jack; step-children, Leigh-Anne Hillis and husband, Chad, Jennifer Prater, Joe Prater, Adam Prater and husband, Nate McComsey; sixteen grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren; and a host of other family members and friends.
